Terms of Use

The short, plain terms.

These terms apply to SalatReminder, a macOS app published by Mohammed Loulou, and to the salatreminder.app website. By downloading or using SalatReminder, you agree to them.

Using SalatReminder

SalatReminder is free. You may download it and use it on your own Macs for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not sell, redistribute, or modify the app, or try to reverse engineer it except where the law allows.

Prayer times

Prayer times are calculated from your location and are estimates. Calculation methods and local practice differ, so please check them against your local mosque or trusted authority, especially for Fajr, Maghrib, and times of fasting. You remain responsible for your own worship.

Athan recordings

The Athan recordings in SalatReminder belong to their respective reciters and rights holders. They are included for personal devotional use within the app only.

Updates

SalatReminder checks for updates so you can install new versions. Features may change or be removed over time, and we may stop offering the app.

No warranty

SalatReminder is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work to make it accurate and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it will be error-free or that every reminder will be delivered.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Mohammed Loulou is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss arising from missed or inaccurate reminders, resulting from your use of SalatReminder.

Privacy

How SalatReminder handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update them here and change the effective date above.
